My B&B Works Scent

Hey guys! I'm back with the help of my cousin Gabi and we're kicking this blog into full swing. So now instead of the one or two posts I normally do a month, now you get a lot more. And that makes a lot more fun. So onto my topic. I was at Bath and Body Works with my cousin the other weekend when I found my scent. The one that I now use everyday. It is probably the most amazing scent in the whole store. Here it is... Secret Wonderland. It's only available in certain stores and became recently available in my local store. It smells kinda fruity but really good and flowery. If you stop by your local B&B Works and smell it I bet you will fall in love with it like I did.

I really hope to get some more of this collection in the upcoming winter holidays. So comment and tell me your favorite Bath and Body Works Scent.

Don't like dresses?

If you dont like dresses because they make you uncomfortable then wear a cute pair of skinny jeans under the dress and your problems will be solved!:)

Also a pair of patterned tights can also jazz up a plain old dress just make sure you don't use two totally diffrent patterns.

Prouduct Review: Metallic Uggs

Metallic Uggs are super cute and super durable (if used with water proof Ugg spray). These metallic ones are perfect for the fall school year when paired with jeans and a cute sweater with cami (preferably metallic cami like the one I just got from Aeropostale). With these boots you are sure to shine in the new school year!
Product Rating: 4.5/5
Although they are super durable the more you use them the bottoms wear away slowly and the sheep fur becomes matted down, but overall super cute (and just a hint that metallic will be super big this school year)

1950 in fashion

Short hair was very popular for young women in the 1950s
Beatnik girls in Venice, California, 1959In the 1960s, pop culture was more focused on teenagers and their interests, including rock n roll. Youth fashions influenced the fashion industry. In the UK, the Teddy boy became both a style icon and an anti-authoritarian figures, whilst in North America, greasers had a similar social position. Previously, teenagers dressed similarly to their parents, but now a rebellious and different youth style was being developed. Rock and Roll gave people the freedom to dress with more individuality. This was particularly noticeable in the overtly sexual nature of their dress. Some young men wore tight trousers, leather jackets, and tee shirts; these men often grew their hair out and, with pomade or other hair treatments, coiffed their hair into pompadours. Men's hair fashion favored the wet look, achieved by the use of products such as Brylcreem. Young women and older teenage girls usually wore their hair cut short and upswept from the forehead in imitation of their favourite film stars, while the younger teens tied their hair back in a ponytail and wore a short fringe (bangs). The beehive was also very popular from 1958 until the mid-1960s.
Beatniks with their stereotypical sunglasses, berets, black turtlenecks, and unadorned dark clothing provided another fashion alternative for youths of both sexes."
